Jeremy Renner’s RennerVation Foundation And A Sense Of Home Partner To Give Youth a Place to Call Home
RennerVation and A Sense of Home Join Forces To Create Pathways for Independent Living for Former Foster Youth in Reno
Reno, NV — RennerVation Foundation, founded by actor Jeremy Renner and his sister Kym Renner, announced a partnership with A Sense of Home to move four transition-aged foster youth into four fully furnished apartments in just two days as part of the pilot Pave Your Way Program.
Launched by RennerVation in May 2025, Pave Your Way is a program dedicated to helping youth aging out of foster care build a strong foundation for independent living. Through personalized mentorship, counseling, educational and career guidance, and now access to safe, stable housing, the program equips each young adult with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive.
“This work is so important, and we can’t do it alone,” said Jeremy Renner, co-founder of RennerVation Foundation. “Through partnerships with organizations like A Sense of Home, we’re proving that with the right support system, young people can build the lives they deserve.”
On October 16 and 17, A Sense of Home will bring its signature “home creation” approach to Reno, transforming empty apartments into fully furnished homes. Volunteers and staff will caravan from Los Angeles with moving trucks, working side by side to set up four apartments in two days turning the empty spaces into homes. The effort marks a milestone moment for the Pave Your Way program.
“At A Sense of Home, we’re dedicated to creating spaces of belonging for youth aging out of foster care and those impacted by natural disasters,” said Georgie Smith and Melissa Goddard, Founders of A Sense of Home, who are traveling to Reno from LA to lead the 4 homes in 2 days activation. “Through our partnership with the RennerVation Foundation, we’re proudly expanding our reach to even more communities by providing fully furnished homes, restoring a sense of stability and hope, and empowering young people to thrive as they begin a new chapter in their lives.”
RennerVation will also be teaming up with Northern Nevada Ford Stores to make this day possible, as well as Caesars Entertainment and Gorelick Real Estate Advisors. Volunteers from Hometown Health, NV Energy, Raise the Future, Truckee Meadows Community College, and Chase Realty will be on hand assisting with the move, while Great Basin Brewing Company, Liberty Food and Wine, Dutch Bros Coffee, Tahoe Trail Bars, and Trader Joes will provide lunches and snacks for all volunteers during the two-day move-in. Their generous contributions highlight the community-driven spirit at the heart of this launch.
“This program is truly about creating a community of care around young people who are stepping into adulthood without a safety net,” said Kym Renner, President & CEO of RennerVation Foundation. “When we bring the right people together, we can create a path that helps youth not just survive, but thrive.”
With the support of partners like A Sense of Home, Ford, and local community organizations, RennerVation Foundation’s Pave a Way is building a model that can be replicated and scaled to address gaps in the foster care system by prioritizing efficiency, mentorship, and long-term stability.
